We can’t get enough of this duo together — Michele Lee and Lucie Arnaz. The two stopped the show in “Lucie’s Birthday Bash at Birdland” in New York City back on July 17, 2006.
This is a completely unrehearsed performance of a song originally sung by both Lucie and Michele when they both starred in the Cy Coleman/Dorothy Fields/Michael Bennett/Tommy Tune Broadway hit, “Seesaw” (Michele on Broadway and Lucie in the first national tour). Although longtime friends and admirers of each other’s work, this was the first time they had ever sung this song together. And it was one for the books. Those who were there are still talking about it.
