Project Angel Food’s<\/a> benefit telethon special, “Lead with Love,” returns to KTLA 5 Los Angeles<\/a> on June 22, 2024, featuring a “Knots Landing” reunion with Michele Lee, Donna Mills, and Joan Van Ark.<\/p>\n

The live broadcast will be available on KTLA 5 and stream simultaneously on Roku<\/a>, Fire TV<\/a>, Apple TV<\/a>, Samsung<\/a>, as well as on KTLA and Project Angel Food’s websites, YouTube channels<\/a>, Instagram<\/a>, Facebook<\/a>, and X feeds<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Alongside the beloved trio, the two-hour show will showcase performances by a variety of artists.<\/p>\n

ABOUT PROJECT ANGEL FOOD<\/p>\n

Project Angel Food<\/a> prepares and delivers more than 1.5 Million Medically Tailored meals each year, free of charge to homes of men, women, and children affected by life-threatening illnesses. Declared an essential service during the COVID-19 pandemic by Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, Project Angel Food has expanded to meet the moment and the need throughout Los Angeles County to deliver medically tailored meals and nutritional counseling services to more than 2,400 people per day. This is an increase of 54% from our pre-pandemic numbers.

\nUnder the care of Project Angel Food\u2019s registered dietitians, and in consultation with each client\u2019s primary healthcare case manager, clients receive one-on-one nutritional counseling and a customized menu that is designed to meet the unique needs of their diagnosis and aligned with their personal dietary restrictions and preferences. Currently, the Project Angel Food kitchen creates 13 variations of each menu.<\/p>\n
