Friedman Theatre in New York City.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This special <strong>Tale of the Allergist\u2019s Wife Actors Fund reading<\/strong> starred Charles Busch in the title role, originally played by Linda Lavin, and reunited the original all-star Broadway cast, including Linda Lavin, Michele Lee, Tony Roberts, and Anil Kumar, along with original director Lynne Meadow.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Tale of the Allergist\u2019s Wife<\/em> was originally produced by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.manhattantheatreclub.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Manhattan Theatre Club<\/a> (Lynne Meadow, Artistic Director; Barry Grove, Executive Producer), alongside producers Carole Shorenstein Hays, Stuart Thompson, and Douglas S.
